As you know, Christmas is coming! And with that, the festive season is in full swing in Dublin and I’m rather delighted! We all need a bit of cheer in the air, and I find that this time of year has never been needed so much than it is now. But what I really want to share with you today is the selection of watches you could invest in, and gift your partner, best friend, parents or siblings from the Watch Station International, who stock at House of Fraser in Dundrum and at Kildare Village. If the ladies in your life are anything like me, they love a good watch to not only accessorize their outfit but of course be fashionably on time every day. With the vast variety the Watch Station International has to offer, there really are some beautiful timepieces for every lady. Fossil have a great selection of different styles, my favourites include the burgundy leather & rose gold ES4099 and I also love the pearlescent face of the ES4106 & ES4098, both of which feature rosegold & silver accents. Mesh straps are very popular for Autumn/Winter and both the full rosegold Armani Exchange AX4503 and the Skagen SKW2340 feature this, the latter of which is a very sleek, duo-colour watch. For ladies who love a little more of a sporty style, the DKNY NY8821 is a beautiful white & rosegold with a pavé bezel finish. If smart watches are more her kind of thing, the new Michael Kors MKT5012 could be the one being the fashion forward wearable technology from the designer that features multiple animated display faces, fitness tracking, as well as text and email notifications.

It’s known that lads love a good watch, as much as women, so why not spoil the mister with his newest timepiece. At the Watch Station International, there’s a great choice to look through that suits many different styles with large faces, chronograph details, mixed metals and also leather straps. The Fossil ES4112 is quite a fun black watch, with its leather detail strap, speckled face and rosegold accents, that’s subtle and rather unisex too. Armani Exchange have a great selection available, my favourites being the AX2511, a brown leather chronograph that also features a gold face and black accents; and the AX7100, that is a classic men’s silver metal watch with black details and chronograph features, which also comes with a black braided leather bracelet. The brother brand Emporio Armani has a similar slick style with the AR2514 that’s a silver, black & rosegold accent watch, whereas the AR2513 features a chic dark brown crocodile strap, chronograph details with black & rosegold accents on the face too. If your man is more into something that stand outs and is unique, the Diesel DZ1793 could be his kind of watch with its cracked black leather strap, ridged dial and fussy face details. Michael Kors also provide great styles including this classy MK8536 watch, and Scandinavian brand Skagen offer sleek, fuss-free styles including their silver mesh SKW327 and the grey leather strap SKW6320.

Spring/Summer 2017 Sneak Peek
As aforementioned, I was also invited to the Dean Dublin Hotel to preview the Watch Station International’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection – and my gosh are we in for a treat! The upcoming styles are extremely trendy, for both women and men, with many styles being unisex too. Not only were there plenty of watches to be in awe of, but there were also jewellery and delicate pieces, as well as fitness trackers, smart watches leather goods and women’s accessories. I have my eye on a handful of watches but there were also some rings & bracelets I adore, and I was also gifted the Misfit Ray fitness tracker – more on that very soon!
