Birthday Wishlist

It is finally July and so the countdown until my birthday is well and truly ON! For the second year now, I’ve cut back on shopping for myself, though I will admit I haven’t been as obedient as I was last year. That said, I find it important to limit myself to only buying necessities or replacing broken and overly old products with ones that will last a long time. However, as July has arrived, I am posting my annual, and rather cheeky, birthday wishlist, because a girl can still dream! (PS: my birthday is on July 13th)

Thomas Sabo Rebel At Heart Pyramid Watch Silver Black: I’ve been lusting after this particular watch since the Spring/Summer 2018 press event in January. I adore the raised pyramid design of the strap and around the bezel, while the black face is a classy finish. Thomas Sabo Charm Club Musical Treble Clef: Forever adding to my charm bracelet, I adore this musical treble clef charm from the Thomas Sabo Charm Club collection. Music is one of my three all-time loves, and I do think it’s rather perfect and matches my personality very well. “Ultima” by L.S. Hilton: Having read the first two books in this series with 100% attention, I am longing to read the final book of the trilogy. I’m a fan of L.S. Hilton’s writing style, and though the second book didn’t top the first, I do want to know how the story ends. Available at Dubray Books, Easons, Hodges & Figis, €14.99
ALDO Shoes Porella Caged Heeled Sandals: As much as I don’t need new dresses, I don’t need new heels…but these black cage design heeled sandals are very classy and pretty, and perfect for all my events this season. Available at ALDO Shoes, €80
Dune London Ducky Black Leather-Look Backpack: I have been on the hunt for the perfect black leather backpack, and this beauty from Dune really is ‘the one’. With work and the events I’m usually handbag plus tote bag filled with notebooks, my laptop and iPad as well as the usual makeup & refresh necessities. A backpack will definitely do my shoulder some good, while storing all I need in one place. Available at Dune, €100
Lipsy Floral Skater Dress: I know, I know, I don’t actually need many more dresses, but how beautiful is this number by Lipsy?! From the colour to the floral print and its fit, I love everything about it. Available at Next Ireland, €40
Karen Millen Embellished Mini Dress: This is one of my favourite designs from the new collection. I love the embellished twisted neckline with its keyhole detail, and fitted silhouette. Ted Baker Ashleyy Waterfall Sleeve Dress: First of all – I love the colour! Recently I realized that strong blues look well against my tan skin tone, and when I spotted this mini dress by Ted Baker, I knew it needed to be on the list. Ted Baker Caliii Babylon Long Silk Scarf: A scarf may not be usual for my wishlist, but there’s just something truly beautiful about this silk scarf by Ted Baker. Skinnydip Blue Mermaid iPhone 6S Case: I’ve had the same case on my phone for a few years now and its shiny gold cover is not so shiny anymore. I feel like the blue iridescent design really speaks to me, and my fun personality. Available at Urban Outfitters Dundrum and Temple Bar, €17
