Birthday Wishlist

You’ll have noticed at the beginning of 2017 I stopped writing up the Monthly Wishlist posts, because I wasn’t passionate enough about writing them anymore, but also felt that it was a little greedy. So I gave myself a New Year’s Resolution…to stop shopping! I felt that last year I overly spent on myself, and was buying things that I didn’t need but because I wanted them. That’s alright if I had done so every now and then, but I was very bold and would shop at least every fortnight. Instead, for the past six months I stopped shopping for myself – with the exception of replacements or necessities. I’ve also upped my charity donations, and have saved a lot more for the apartment I want to buy. However, I will allow myself to cheekily post up a birthday wishlist, because a girl can still dream! (PS: my birthday is on July 13th)

Versace Round Sunglasses VE4330: I have been on the hunt for new sunglasses for a while now, as my Bulgari ones have really had their day. When I came across these designer pair by Versace though, I fell in love. I love absolutely everything about them! That gold accent along the upper rims, the crosshatch design, the slight cat eye of the round shape, and the nose bridge for extra comfort. J’adore! Available at Brown Thomas & Sunglasses Hut, €190
Michael Michael Kors Adrianna Sunglasses MK1010: As mentioned above, sunglasses are my top hunt and these pair are another favourite choice. Pretty Little Thing Yellow Lace Strappy Frill Detail Bodycon Dress: Online window shopping has been a pastime of mine for the past while since my resolution, and as I’ve two weddings within one week in September, naturally I’ve got dresses on my mind! This PLT lace number really caught my eye, as I adore how it would compliment my tan (the model has the same skin tone as I), but also it has numerous details which I find very striking. Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Mon Paris Eau de Parfum 90ml: You’d think I didn’t need more fragrances, but as a girl who loves her perfume I have gone through my last few bottles like there was no tomorrow! Of these, I can always go back to one of my favourites and that is this beauty by YSL. Fruity, floral, sensual and ladylike – what’s not to love. Fitbit Alta Classic Band in Fuschia: A few weeks ago, my original Fitbit Alta band broke, and unfortunately I’ve not yet had the chance to get a new one. The Alta now comes with Heart Rate function, thus new bands are available, but the clip-on style is definitely a favourite and that hot pink is perfect for spicing up my fashion. ALDO Shoes Lamartina Flat Sandals: New sandals are a must as I’ve definitely worn out my current pair. I have this funny thing with the ‘toe wedge’, where I hate it and it rather freaks me out… Thankfully these sandals bear none of those features, and even have a subtle glam hint to them. Zara Wide Open Neck Shirt with Puffy Sleeves: One of the biggest withdrawals of not shopping is not having a fresh & shiny new work wardrobe. Zara is one of my favourites for this kind of attire, and this shirt is ideal for office to bar, which definitely would get its wear from all of my meetings & daily office happenings to the events.
