Now I love Michael Kors, like most girls I know, and his new collection that was unveiled yesterday afternoon was just divine. His Fall 2014 RTW collection consisted of dark, warm coats & gilets, as well as masculine cuts, textures and fur. The show was accessorized with gorgeous Michael Michael Kors handbags, scarves and shoes, which were stylish, comfortable and practical. The evening wear that walked the runway, had me more in awe of his designs, because they were just beautiful. “Fall 2014 is all about urban polish mixed with laid-back Northern California ease,” says Michael of his collection. Take a look below at my favourite women’s & men’s looks from the collection at New York Fashion Week.
Flowy & Full Length
I particularly loved the very last look of the show, which was probably left as the last for this reason, because of its caped shimmery features. It had light-reflective beading at the front & back with a caped finish. The overall dresses of the show were flowy, full-length and can easily be worn during the Spring season with pastel tones.
Brightening Up
This creamy white oversized blazer was another favourite look, because it was such a stand-out piece in the collection with its bright & bold colour, that contrasted with the dark browns and black looks from the rest of the show.
Wrap Up
There was quite an Irish feel to some of the pieces, with the large knitted jumpers. Aran jumper meets Michael Kors perhaps? The fur coats were also beautiful, and look so luxurious. However as I am anti-fur, I’m hoping that they’re faux fur…
