Alex & Ani #AmericanStyle Event

Yesterday evening I attended the Alex & Ani #AmericanStyle event at Arnotts, to celebrate July 4^th, which is of course known as American Independence Day. There was quite a giddy atmosphere amongst fellow bloggers and Arnotts shoppers, all of whom are Alex & Ani fans. To celebrate in true party style: ring donuts by Otis Spunkmeyer, colourful lollipops, red twizzlers, fizzy & rainbow-coloured wires, and mini Diet Cokes with striped straws, along with tunes and red, blue & white balloons too. There were also prizes in little rounds of trivia, and I won one of the gift bags! My question was, “What does the key to the heart unlock?” and without really knowing I said ‘love’, which was correct! So I won two Alex & Ani gifts: Green Kasbah Earrings & Lotus Peace Petals Keyring. Thank you so much for the gifts! The big prize on the night was a trip to New York City for two, which to my dismay I didn’t win. In order to win this, we had to take a photo by the giant shopping bag and post it on social media with the corresponding hashtags & tags. You can see my photo below. The collections at Alex & Ani are just gorgeous, I quite like those bracelets a lot. I adore the sparkle of their gems in the Path of Llfe and Graduation Cap collections – so very cute!

I attended with my bestie Mei Ling of Darling Buds of Mei and met up with bloggers Kathleen of Squidgy Moments, AJ of AJ Makeup, Filomena of Enhance What’s Yours, Grace Mongey of Faces by Grace and met new bloggers Siobhán of Dreaming in Sequins and vlogger Eimear McElheron.
