#Layering up at ALEX AND ANI Ring Launch

ALEX AND ANI #LayeringOn Wednesday (February 10th), I attended a wonderful breakfast event for the ALEX AND ANI ring launch in Ireland, held in one of my favourite beauty spots, Tropical Popical, on South William Street. It was a great way to start my Wednesday as it involved a sneak peek at the brand new ring collection by this American powerhouse of a jewellery brand. We were treated to a bit of a pamper with complimentary manicures, breakfast parfait pots & juices as well as having a go in the ALEX AND ANI mani-cam, which you’ll frequently see at the red carpet events in Hollywood! But most importantly we got to check out the Irish debut ring collection, which I was very excited about – y’all know how much I love wearing rings!

The new collection focuses on ring stacking, and features timeless symbols, as well as new styles and even more ways to express oneself with an ALEX AND ANI. As you know, the brand is famous for their bangle bracelets & charms, great for stacking but gorgeous when worn solo, and now you can do the same with their rings. Available in silver or gold with a selection of charms and symbols to choose from, each of these beautiful & delicate pieces can be stacked for maximum impact or by itself for an elegant finish. Brand manager Yvonne Ellard was on hand to go through the meanings behind the collection for us, and was truly informative & super friendly, which is exactly what you expect of ALEX AND ANI. There are five spoon (wrap) rings in the collection; Unexpected Miracles, Tree of Life, Hand of Fatima, Endless Knot, Lotus Peace Petals and Path of Life, all of which are adjustable Rafaelian silver that their own symbol at both end and are great statement pieces. And then there are the bangle rings which include the aforementioned symbols on charms, as well as Compass, Claddagh Ring, Four Leaf Clover, Healing Love, Key to Life and Love II. Their brushed finish reflects the brand’s well-known bracelets, and are available in expandable Rafaelian silver or gold.

I really enjoyed this event! It was just what I needed in the morning before work. I opted for a green Essie nail polish, applied by the gorgeous Jessie from Tropical Popical and was gifted by ALEX AND ANI with a gorgeous selection of rings! These are going to be a big thing in the jewellery trends, I just know it! So if you want to get on the ball, pick yours up soon – or better, gift them for friends & family, and get matching ones for yourself and a bestie! I was also featured in the video for the ring launch, which you can watch above – thank you!

ALEX AND ANI rings are available in jewellers nationwide, and online at RepublicOfJewels.ie and Arnotts, from €23

Thank you to Leah & Emma of Hunter Communications PR for the invite and brilliant organisation, to Yvonne Ellard of ALEX AND ANI for the generous gifts, to all of the staff at Tropical Popical and to Blacksheep Foods for the breakfast nibbles!
