As it is now Beyoncé month on Killer Fashion, I wanted to continue posting for my male readers and give you another dose of Steal His Style. And who better than Bee’s husband, whom I deem the King of Rap, Jay-Z. His his brilliant album was released in the last quarter of 2013, including notable collaborations with Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé “Third Ward Trill” Knowles and Frank Ocean, this album shows us that Jay can change it up and stay at the top. His style in the past half-decade has exceeded many best dressed lists, with his classy red carpet looks, his casually cool attire and signature all black everything. You can achieve these looks with the help of Topman, Ted Baker, ASOS & Adidas and more.
Suit & Tie
Jay is extremely good at wearing clean classic styles on the red carpet and at special events. Back in January 2013, Jay & Beyoncé attended the President Obama Inauguration event and both looked fab. Wearing his now-favourite Tom Ford, you can recreate this style with a slick jacket & pants suit, complete with a pocket square and bright ties. The fur overcoat is optional. Run This Town
Just like in the hit music video, an all black everything look will always work for anyone, especially Jay-Z. Jeans & t-shirts with cool prints, leather jackets, hoodies and baseball caps. In the video every scene was a black-on-black fashion scene. Easily worn, choose from River Island‘s black selection such as their t-shirts, leather jackets and hoodies. Pick up your caps from Adidas for a variety of Brooklyn Nets choices, and add some black sneakers while you’re at it.
Holy Grail
Stealing Jay-Z’s style wouldn’t be complete without the bling. Think heavy chains, flashy watches & sunglasses.
