Another year, another wonderful look at the Emmy Awards 2019, which took place on Monday (September 23). Held in the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, those who stepped onto the purple carpet before the ceremony sure had a whole lot of fashion. We saw a new trend for the season in pink & red dresses, while metallic looks were left, right and centre. My favourite looks though were by Mandy Moore, Catherina Zeta-Jones and Zendaya – the last of whom absolutely blew me away! Killer Fashion Choice
The Emmys are an interesting red carpet, but when I saw the Elie Saab Fall 2019 Couture collection earlier this year, I knew it’d be the right choice. This deep green hue with the gold and silver accents alongside the midnight black feather details add such stylish drama. While the plunge neck and high-cut skirt compliment one another perfectly, I would omit the waistbelt and neck-train, but totally keep those gorgeous heels from the runway.
