It’s no surprise to anyone that I’m a huge Rihanna fan, and so when the 5th Annual Diamond Ball 2019 took place on Thursday evening (September 12) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, y’all know I just had to do a blog post fashion roundup! The ball is a fundraiser and awareness event for Riri’s charity Clara Lionel Foundation, to benefit impoverished communities across the globe, with healthcare, and education, among other various programs. Star-studded with performances and speeches, the black (red) carpet was adorned with a whole lot of seriously fashionable ladies and gentlemen. Killer Fashion Choice

Like the magpie that I am, this Armani Privé Fall 2019 Couture gown called out to me as the ideal choice for the Rihanna Diamond Ball. The tulle at the top of the plunge-cut neckline is so chic, bold but still beautiful, which compliments the gathering around the wait. And then of course there’s the embellishment all over, a favourite feature of mine, from the glitz and glam to the a-line ballgown fit…this dress was made for the Damond Ball!
