Weddings are always a favourite fashion opportunity of mine, and recently I headed over to Southampton for my friends James & Sophie’s wedding and I knew exactly what to wear. Months before the wedding, I’d decided on wearing pink, but more specifically a hot pink suit. I also teamed up with Thomas Sabo and Revolve Marketing & PR once again to finish my outfit, and it really couldn’t have been more perfect!
Outfit
I ordered this hot pink suit by ASOS DESIGN, ASOS DESIGN Pop Waisted Suit Blazer (€71.89) and ASOS Design Pop Slim Suit Trousers (€44.24), which fit like a glove on the top and bottom. Both Size 12, this tailoring was on point and really complimented my curves. I love the subtle flare design on the blazer cuffs and the structured shoulders, while the black buttons added a touch of oomph. The trousers we’re lovely slimming fit too, with ample pocket space.
I teamed the suit with my black Satin Cowl Neck Bodysuit* (€9) from Dresses.ie, which was was ideal for adding a bit of sass and class. For the wedding there was only ever going to be one shoe choice for this outfit, my Loubies! My Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100mm (€545) matched the outfit very well, and I did stay and dance in them into the all hours.
Hair & Makeup
For my hair, Ultimate Hair & Beauty* in the GPO Arcade prepped me in Dublin before my flight. Following a swift shampoo wash, Tara gave me a much-needed trim, and curly blow dry, then Lauren pinned my curls up and gave me good dose of hairspray. Then the morning of the wedding I carefully took out all the pins, gave my a hair a nice shake out and brushed the crown back for extra volume. I added an embellished pink & silver hairband from Algie’s Accessories and set with hairspray. And I absolutely loved my curly do!
When it comes to doing my makeup, I often use my bunny makeup hairband from The Body Shop – cute and practical! I prepped my face with one of my favourite combos of YSL Top Secrets Instant Moisture Glow Ultra and YSL Touche Éclat Blur Primer: Blurring & Illuminating Fluid Gel Primer.
Then starting with my eyes, I used Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage High Coverage Concealer* followed by my newest Too Faced Cosmetics Sugar Peachy Palette* using shades Peach Honey and Peach Pearl with my BPerfect LMD Master Palette* in shades Coco, Rusty and Toffee. Next it was YSL Dessin Du Regard Waterproof Eye Pencil Limited Edition in No.10 Arcade Pink on my top lid and Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Eyeliner in Black along both my lash line and waterline, YSL Faux Cils Mascara in Black and topped up my lashes with my YSL Mascara Vinyl Couture in No.7 Black Glitter.

Jewellery
And then there was my jewellery by Thomas Sabo*. Their newest collection, Magical Stones, was the perfect fit for my suit. Funnily enough, their brand ambassador Rita Ora also wears a bright suit in the campaign imagery so I knew it’d be the right collection.
We opted for two matching sets, the first being the Large Blue Stone Ring in Sterling Silver Blackened (€129) and the Large Blue Stone Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver (€198). I love how dazzling the ring is, with its large cut light blue stone and features stars with gems on both sides of the band. The earrings then featured the stars as the stud with the same size large cut light blue stone at the end of the drop.

The second matching set of jewellery were the Colourful Multi Stones Necklace (€498) and Colourful Multi Stones Bracelet (€339). Both feature smaller cut faceted gemstones in an array of colours including ruby, emerald and amethyst, as well as little beetles, stars and eyes. Some of the gemstones were also pavé and both were just gorgeous!
Worn with all of my other Thomas Sabo jewellery, my Mam’s rings, and my silver glitter manicure from Q&M Hair & Beauty on Capel Street, my whole look sure was complete.

I may have felt like a bit of a rock star!
