Christmas time is easily one of my favourite times of the year, and especially so when there are fun activities like ice skating! The perfect way to spend time with your friends for a catch up, take your siblings for a fun day out, or an ideal date night with your other half. Dundrum On Ice is truly a perfect spot for any wintry occasion.
Having worked with Dundrum On Ice for the past few years, I was more than delighted to return for this year’s season of skating. This year, Dundrum On ice has also teamed with up Cookes Restaurant, for Skate & Date! I brought the girls for a lovely catch up and ‘girls date’, skating on the ice and then enjoying an extremely delicious 2 course lunch at Cookes Restaurant. Here, I ordered the Irish Hereford Carpaccio of Beef, then Pancake with Caramel Pecans & Butterscotch, alongside the Sour Elderflower cocktail. Magnificent! What to Wear for Skate & Date
Ice skating can be a graceful activity, and if you do plan on heading to Cookes Restaurant before or after, here are some of my Killer Fashion stylish tips! Despite being a winter activity, ice skating at Dundrum On Ice is hella warm! As you’re exercising and moving around the whole time on the ice, I recommend light layers with trendy Christmas or winter accents like faux fur, glitter or shimmer, and a pop of colour.
