Best Dressed at Academy of Country Music Awards 2018

It’s been about a month since the last red carpet roundup, and I was honestly having withdrawal symptoms! Thankfully though, on Sunday evening (April 15), the 53rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards 2018 took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and I was back in fashion heaven. As a fan of country music, this red carpet is one of my favourites to watch. Celebrating and honouring the country music industry’s accomplishments from the past year, country music veteran Reba McEntire hosted the show, where there were many wonderful moments including live performances, well-deserved award recipients and of course the beautiful ladies and gentlemen gracing the blue carpet in their Sunday best. Killer Fashion Choice

There’s something about country music awards that always makes me think of a classy look, and therefore for this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards I have opted for this Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2018 collection. Of of the first things I find so striking about this dress is its drama: the tiered trumpet skirt, the bardot ruffled shoulders, the halter neckline and the extravagant flowers with the crystal embellishments. And then there’s that aubergine pink-purple shade that is perfect for this time of year. J’adore!

The Best Dressed

Bebe Rexha is always on point, and for this year’s ACM Awards, the singer opted for a sassy black velvet gown designed by Yanina Couture. t features an exaggerated sheer ruffle and embellishments along the sleeves. The fitted look was perfect for Bebe’s body shape, hugging her curves beautifully and accentuating her hourglass silhouette. A simple statement, the blonde beauty opted for an under-tuck hairstyle and subtle accessories.

Looking very pretty in pink, Eve walked the carpet in a soft ruffled dress by Prabal Gurung. It featured cold shoulders and a tall skirt slit, with button details and a darker pink shade for the ruffles, all of which really complimented her skin tone beautifully. I also love her chic bob hairstyle, the pink hues in her eyeshadow and that nude lip. The rapper-singer’s look was complete with a selection of sparkling rings by Borgioni, and hoop earrings by Lana Jewelry, and white pointed courts by Christian Louboutin.
