There’s something truly wonderful about Winter, and two weeks ago I headed to the chilly temperatures of Warsaw, Poland with Lorna for a couple of days break away from reality. Although February and March are considered Spring, the snowstorm Europe received, dubbed the now infamous ‘The Beast from the East’, definitely reassured us that it was still very much Winter! Neither of us had been to Poland before, and we had plenty of tips of places to visit, where to eat and drink, and it was such a fun trip! We may have had an unexpected extended stay in Poland, but that just meant we got to enjoy the holiday more, drink a few more vodkas, eat a lot more and see even more of Warsaw – it really delivered on the winter wonderland fantasy.
I love working with brands on collaborations, therefore I was delighted to team up with Regatta Great Outdoors, and was very grateful as the temperatures were quite cold in Warsaw. Regatta are very well-known for their practical outerwear and warm layers, and recently their collections have really upped the fashion game with trendy colours, prints and lining details for that extra touch. You’ll notice that the pieces I wore are two of my favourite colours, as well as a few pieces that are very new to my style. Keep your eyes on my lifestyle blog Cookie FM for my full holiday diary blog post and my own recommendations, because here on Killer Fashion it’s all about the fashion!
(I also teamed up with Dresses.ie for the holiday – check out the style diary here)
It’s always fun dressing up, and while out exploring the Polish capital city, I spruced up my day look in this Brienna Waterproof Insulated Hooded Jacket in Fig, teaming it with the Ludz Faux Fur Trim Knitted Hat for extra warmth. The jacket really kept me snug, which was a true necessity in the cold temperatures, while complimenting my Dresses.ie Red Side Stripe Bodycon Mini Dress. During our ‘shoot, the locals sure were surprised at my bare legs and minimal clothing in the minus temperatures! (Don’t worry, I did pull on a pair of tights thereafter!)

Staying comfy while being fashionable is important to me and very easy to do with Regatta. Wearing an all black outfit including the Dresses.ie Black Zip Through PU Skirt, I added a true pop of colour with this bright Bayeur II Lightweight Waterproof Hooded Jacket in Lollipop that represents my personality perfectly! Not only did the jacket keep me warm and dry, but its hood lining is also a very fun navy & white striped finish.

On our many mornings, afternoons and evening lounging in our apartments, comfort really was key. Thankfully I had this cosy Closinda Hoodie to keep me satisfied, a perfect addition to my suitcase. I love the rosegold accents, plus it’s rather oversized making it great for layering when it gets that little bit colder at home. The little details are what make this hoodie that little extra; from the aforementioned rosegold to the leather & metal Regatta logo and the large pockets.
