The countdown is on for Valentine’s Day, also known as the “most romantic day” of the year. February 14th is just nine days away, and though I believe you should show your other halves and nearest & dearest that you love and care for them every day…who doesn’t love to be spoiled for Valentine’s! If you’re looking for a few special gifts, then take a look below at this year’s Valentine’s Day Gift Guide. Jewellery is one of my favourite presents to receive, and many women would be on the same page. Depending on how long you are with the lucky lady, be aware of what you are going to give in a gift box. Earrings and charms are a failsafe, necklaces and bracelets are the next step up, watches after that, and rings should always be at the top of that chain.

Thomas Sabo is my ultimate jewellery brand, who have created beautiful designs since 1984. If you’re a regular to Killer Fashion, then you know how much I adore this brand – and for good reason. Their jewellery is of the highest quality, with a variety of silver, gold and rosegold as well as colourful gemstones and diamonds. For an extra special touch many of their pieces can be engraved with a little message or initials, that you can get the personalised in-store, which only takes a few minutes. Plus, each purchase from the Valentine’s Day heart collection will be specially presented in a deep red heart-shaped jewellery box alongside a special greeting card.

Other impressive jewellery brands to consider for Valentine’s this year include CARAT* London, whose designs are not only sparkling and beautiful but are also statement pieces for life. Daniel Wellington, Calvin Klein and Emporio Armani have a wonderful selection of watches, especially if you know she’s a lover of a good timepiece. Swarovski and Paul Costelloe offer beautiful jewellery that suit the elegant style, with their clean lines, simplistic design and glistening finishes.

Clothes & Accessories

If you prefer to gift your lovely lady with clothes, shoes or fashionable accessories then I do hope the below inspire you! Whether you’re after something classy, sassy or straight up sexy, check out these stylish picks that will be sure to surprise your other half.

With the opening of the Victoria’s Secret store on Grafton Street in December, expect a lot of queues throughout the three-storey wonderland, where you can find plenty of gifts for her. In store, there are many value deals too that I do highly recommend – a girl can never have too much underwear!

Boohoo and PrettyLittleThing are full of beautiful pieces to spoil her, from sassy nightwear to a classic biker jacket, to shoes and bags that will make her eyes (and wardrobe) sparkle. River Island is also a great stop for more fashionable pieces, while Schuh has a whole stock of brilliant footwear, and at Brown Thomas you can find a variety of extra special gifts too like Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Kate Spade.

Makeup & Beauty Picks

If your special someone is a big beauty lover, a makeup fanatic and/or a skin goddess, then she’s sure to love any of these gifts. From top of the range beauty brands to the cult classics, new trend pieces and my personal favourites, take a look at what really is hot on the beauty market.

Yves Saint Laurent is my favourite beauty brand, as you readers may already know. Their lip and base products are true queens, and I especially recommend the Tatouge Couture collection as well as their latest All Hours Foundation. When it comes to highlighters, the Fenty Beauty Match Stix and LA Girl Cosmetics Strobing Powder are excellent, and if you know which product type your special lady prefers then you’re onto a winner. Clarins do wonders for both skincare and makeup, while Vichy and Declaré are high-class skincare brands that will leave her skin healthy, super soft and very clean.
