Holiday Diary: From Malta With Love…

Holidays are always the best when you visit somewhere you’ve not been to before, that promises sunshine, tranquil turquoise waters, good food and you’re going with your best friend. Heading away to Malta with Lorna was exactly that, and more! Check out Cookie FM for the full details of what we got up to, and the Top 5 places to eat in! Today, however, it’s all about the fashion!

Day 1

Upon arrival to Malta, we headed for lunch and strolled around the Spinola Bay to take in the sights of the area we were staying in. I picked up this star printed shift dress from Penneys, which features an asymmetrical ruffle. Teamed with my new Vice Verso Black T Strap Elastic Sandals from Pamela Scott, a wide-brimmed hat and two birthday presents; Michael Michael Kors Adrianna Sunglasses MK1010 and Kate Spade Mulberry Street Alecia Shoulder Bag – it was the perfect “I’m finally on holidays!” look.

For dinner, we switched into more evening wear, and I opted for a classic LBD. I actually love the fit and finish of this Forever 21 Keyhole Halter Bodycon Dress, and my Atmosphere Cut Out Wedges from Primark were great for walking around the bays in St. Julian’s. I teamed with sparkling jewellery with my new Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Velvet Underground and my aforementioned Kate Spade handbag.

Day 2

On our day exploring Valletta, I wore my favourite colour: scarlet red. This Asymmetrical Ruffle Shift Dress from Penneys was perfect for the occasion. Again, I teamed it with my new Michael Kors sunglasses, sandals from Pamela Scott and Kate Spade handbag.

Swimwear is a tricky one for me, so I was more than delighted when I came across this colourful and more importantly comfortable Palm Print Bandeau Bikini at Marks & Spencer. My favourite beach top, a Laser Cut Crochet Crop by Penneys, my beloved Thomas Sabo Watch and the Michael Kors sunglasses, along with a €3.50 cocktail poolside and I was very happy out!

Day 3

Another day of exploring, this time we went island hopping, visiting both Gozo & Comino. I picked up this wonderful Floral Printed Midi Dress from Penneys, which features ruffled details and bow straps too. For the beach and swimming in the Blue Lagoon, I wore a Floral Printed Bandeau Bikini from Penneys. I switched into my Wesley Tortoise Sunglasses by Stella & Dot and kept the Pamela Scott sandals for the day. My jewellery on the day mainly consisted of Thomas Sabo, notably from the Little Secrets Collection.

Day 4

For our final day of seeing what Malta has to offer, I opted for a blue look featuring the Elana Blue Ripped Denim Hotpants by PrettyLittleThing with a Blue Back Cross Strap Vest by Pimkie and a Light Blue Sleeveless Blazer Jacket from Penneys. For dinner that evening, I wore a graphic print bodycon maxi, which I picked up on Depop! I love the colours and that keyhole detail, and it was a perfect fit for the evening.

Day 5

For our final night, Lorna and I went all out! Back to my scarlet red, I love this Reena Red Lace Up Detail Mini Dress I bought from PrettyLittleThing a few years ago. From its lace up at the front and the back, to the sheer lace sleeves and bodycon fit, j’adore! I accessorized with Ted Baker Rosegold & Ruby Double Drop Earrings, my Thomas Sabo jewellery & watch, Bebo Rosegold Barely There Sandals from TK Maxx, and the City Slim Clutch Crosshatch Raffia by Stella & Dot. Again, I love these photos Lorna took!
