Ireland is ever-increasing its numbers of well-dressed men, and fashion for men is becoming more and more a thing. From those who influence others from across the globe as well as right here on the Emerald Isle, to those who are just pure class when it comes to getting dressed, there are many different styles to admire by men of many different ages and walks of life. And it doesn’t have to be three-piece suits all the time (though that doesn’t hurt every now & then!), but more so how one carries himself when it comes to fashionable attire. To me, stylish individuals don’t have to have thousands or millions of followers. For five weeks this month, August is going to be dedicated to those very stylish and dare I say, sexy men. Every week you’ll get a taste of my favourite five of Instagram, from Ireland and worldwide, because what better way is there to share the love!

1. Mariano Di Vaoi / @marianodivaoi / Italy

This beautiful Italian man has been my #1 male style icon for years now. He was one of the first fashionistas I followed, and if you haven’t heard of him before then I hope you’ll now know why. From his casual to his formal attire, Mariano Di Vaoi knows how to dress, and does so very well. Now a father & husband, this model and designer is also the main man behind & founder of fashion label NOHOW.

2. Manuel / @meanwhileinawesometown / Austria

What I love about Manuel is his effortlessly cool and casual vibe. Whether he’s rocking a double denim look (and not ending up looking like Justin Timberlake à la American Music Awards 2001), monochrome attire or a pop of colour, Manuel is one stylish and laid back man.

3. Jake McCabe / @jake_cupl / Ireland

When it comes to sartorial elegance, look to this Irish chap for great style tips. His love for accessories are easily one of my favourite features about Jake McCabe, but also his ability to rock the casual all black everything as well as a plum purple suit. The latter of which garnered him and his girlfriend features on many fashion publications during Pitti Uomo including the New York Times! His Instagram layout itself is also something to be in awe of, very creative. (And yes, Jake is also one of my friends, but this doesn’t mean he ain’t stylish!)

4. Jalen Nelson / @_lickmyfashion_ / Canada

Jalen Nelson is easily one of the coolest kids one the fashion block. Check out his traditional African style, mixed with formal and casual wear for truly unique and colourful inspiration. Also congratulations to him on his recent engagement!

5. Ilja Jay / @wayofjay / Austria

You’ll come to realize that I love cool fashion, as cheesy as that may sound, and so it’s obvious that Ilja Jay would be included in this week’s Top 5. This man knows how to stand out from the crowd is not afraid to do so, from donning vibrant leather jackets to the accessories, as well as his love for slogans and statement text.
