Best Dressed at MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017

Celeb land turned out yesterday evening (May 7) for the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017, which was its first year including television awards, as well as the first year in which both male & female actors were in the same category, as well as both films and television shows competing against one another. So quite the mark for a lot of firsts! Hosted by comic Adam DeVine in the The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the red carpet beforehand was its usual fun and flirty style. Below I’ve got my round-up of the Killer Fashion Best Dressed List, so do take a look!

Killer Fashion Choice

The MTV awards are in general a mix between casual and fancy attire, therefore so many looks would be appropriate for this red carpet. When I saw this Pamella Roland Autumn/Winter 2016 RTW dress, I knew it’d be perfect for such an occasion. From its peekaboo lace on the upper bodice & sleeves to that fun flurry of green ombré feathers of the mini skirt, it would easily work for such an early summer event.

The Best Dressed

Zendaya was easily one of the best dressed ladies on the night, donning this gorgeous moss-green plunging gown by Zuhair Murad. I adore its ocre embellishments with the lace, the half-sleeves and the ankle-grazing length that show off her metallic Le Silla peeptoe sandals. And can we just be in awe of her hairstyle? It’s stunning! Complete with matching green eyeshadow, nude lips and minimal jewellery, this is such a beautiful look on the tall actress.

Another gorgeous fashion look was that by Emma Watson, whose black & silver Kitx dress featured a diagonal fish scale sequin panel with one sheer sleeve and rough edges and an asymmetrical skirt cut. Her simple black sandals by Susi Studio with Forevermark jewellery rounded up her look, alongside a chic & swept back upstyle, strong brows, classic eyeliner and a soft pink lipstick. I love this look, it’s extremely complimentary of her skin tone and reflects her style perfectly.
