Nothing says it’s the festive season like sequins and glitter, and thankfully these details are plentiful for party wear online and in the stores. Sometimes though, this look can be a tad tacky but over at Boohoo.com there’s none of that with their brand new party campaign for Autumn/Winter 2016. From gorgeous gúnas to bomber jackets, styled with velvet, leather, metallic and lace details, your new party wardrobe is ready to go for a fraction of the designer price.

The new ad & party campaign includes a lot of pretty statement pieces, like the Marie Camo Sequin Bomber, that’s a perfect addition to any simplistic look, from dressing up simple jeans & t-shirt to layering with a chic black dress. Sequins are a huge player in the new collection, my favourites from the campaign being the Lois All Over Sequin Halter Neck Jumpsuit, but also the Boutique Yasmin Sequin Star Applique Shift Dress. The former is definitely a stand-out look, great for the Christmas parties and even New Year’s Eve. The latter shift dress is a very fun and chic way of wearing sequins, its midnight blue colours and with the addition of the star appliqué, it’s a great look for the dancefloor and the cocktail parties alike. Metallic pieces are also plentiful in the new collection, and my favourite of the campaign has to be the Martha Metallic Biker Jacket. For someone who wears a lot of black & white, a sheen of metallic leather goes down very well, and is definitely party wear as outerwear. If you’re a lover of velvet, there are some gorgeous pieces at the ready, including the Tammy Crushed Velvet Lace Trim Slip Dress and the Boutique Ann Tassle Velvet Bodycon Dress.
