White Hot

The gorgeous Zendaya attended the #GlamourWOTY wearing a mini dress by Reem Acra. This is no oridinary LWD though, as it features floral appliqué sheer sleeves, with a fitted bodice and short sleeves and a circle skirt finish. I really adore this look on the young brunette, it’s very flattering, fun but still very classy. The glamorous look was styled with sparkling t-bar sandals, a selection of stunning jewellery and an updo, finishing up with soft pink eyeshadow, strong brows and a pink lipstick too. Zendaya was honoured with The Voice for Girls award.

Okay not technically wearing white, but how gorgeous did Amber Heard look last night?! The blonde beauty wore a nude lace creation by Alessandra Rich, which featured a round keyhole on the halter neckline with bardot capped sleeves, and a sheer lace skirt with a mid split and beige velevt peplum trims under the bust, on the waist and above the thighs. I’m always a big fan of Amber Heard’s style, and she pulls this fussy look off very easily, adding a hairbun, red lipstick and soft barely there makeup to finish with select jewellery.

Keltie Knight always gets it right, and this cute little dress by Valentino was a perfect choice for the #GlamourWOTY. The LWD featured a tulle overlay with layered sleeves, polka dot mesh along the neckline with deep pleats in the double-layered main body. An airy fairy-like look, it was styled beautifully with Stuart Weitzman sandals, a glistening textured box clutch by Heliopolis and jewellery by Michael John Jewelry. Also opting for an updo with bangs, the presenter finished her awards attire with dark red lips and strong eye makeup.

Glitz & Glam

Rashida Jones attended in this v-cut metallic-threaded dress by Missoni. Cinched in at the waist with plaited straps were subtle features to the dress and her drop earrings, the straight-styled bob and pink lips were perfect finishing touches.

Singer Leona Lewis was quite striking in the dark red glitzy look she wore on the red carpet. The fully sequin gown featured a simple v-neckline and matched her dark red lip colour, which stood out against her blonde curly fro. With cat eyeliner and subtle jewellery, this was one festive look.

Olympic fencer Ibithaj Muhammed also attended the awards, looking beautiful donning a black long-sleeved gown that also was fully sequin-clad. The modest look was teamed with a black clutch, cat eyeliner & exaggerated lashes with a brown lip colour to finish.

Chanel Iman looked wondrous in silver as she stepped out wearing a KAUFMANFRANCO dress. The high neck sequin dress featured low cut outs on the waist with a fitted finish and slight fishtail skirt. The tall model added heels by Jerome C. Rousseau and jewellery by Harry Kotlar, with a box clutch, two-tone smokey eyes and a flawless hairstyle to finish.

Black Beauties

Producer Brandon Milbradt opted for a very cool but chic black ensemble, donning a black statement t-shirt with relaxed trousers and heels. The t-shirt read “Never With Him.” in all capitals, that reflects her feminist views, was styled with a simplistic gold necklace, a slick upstyle and rocking smokey eyes. I love this relaxed look, two thumbs up from me! Brandon Milbradt was honoured with Executive Video Producer award.

Olympic swimmer Dana Vollmer looked lovely in her demure black dress, that featured a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps, with a leather waisband. A glittering gold & black envelope clutch, simplistic jewellery, fresh-faced makeup and a pink lip completed her awards attire.

Opting for a black dress, actress Keke Palmer looked great on the red carpet. The structured & fitted LBD featured gold button detailing down the front and on faux pockets with white cuffs and a collar that added lovely a contrast. Gold barely there sandals, bronzed makeup and her fresh pixie cut rounded up this look.

Demi Lovato looked stunning on the red carpet, flashing a cheeky smile in her black embellished dress. The sheer business-like fit dress featured all over black detailing with light-reflecting embellishments that she wore with a cami underneath. The knee-length dress was teamed with black strappy sandals and an envelope clutch, jewellery by Harry Kotlar, a chic updo and an off-red lip.

One of my favourite looks from last night was Liz Hernandez, who attended wearing a black ensemble for the awards. She styled a strapless v-cut midi dress with a velveteen textured stripe print maxi jacket, tied on the waist from the House of Harlow 1960 X Revolve collection. Accessorizing with black barely there sandals and a blinging choker, the presenter opted for a sleek top knot hairstyle and, smokey eyes & a subtle pink-brown lip colour to finish. Click here to buy Liz Hernandez’ jacket!

Cara Delevingne was quite the talk about town in her stunning Elie Saab choice last night. The lace dress featured different peekaboo cut outs and panels from head to toe, with a nude underlay mini dress to break up the sheer lace skirt of this column dress. The full sleeves featured peplum cuffs and complimeted the tall blonde’s slim physique beautifully. Glamourous wavy hair, with her signature strong brows, red-tinted eyeshadow and a scarlet red with a thin gold choker completed her outfit. Beautiful!

Classic Black & White

Arriving in quite the gown, honouree Gwen Stefani attended the awards wearing a black & cream gown by Marchesa. The look was quite a statement, it featured a halterneck with an extreme cut out on the bodice, with oversized peplum detail on the waist, a ballgown skirt finish and a train too. The colours of the gown are complimentary of the starlet’s complexion as well as her signature blonde, which was styled into a messy updo, with exaggerated lashes & eyeliner, shimmering makeup and a nude lip colour to finish. I do wish that there was a bit more colour, as I feel it all washes out a bit but c’est la vie. Gwen Stefani was honoured with The Icon award.

Actress Freida Pinto also opted for a black & cream option, donning a strapless Reem Acra column dress. The lace bodice contrasted with the ombré sequins in the skirt, though were a perfect combination for the occasion. She added a black box clutch and caged black sandals to her look, with glamourous curls, smokey eyes and red lipstick to finish.

Angela Sarafyan looked great in her white dress at the awards, wearing Julianna Bass. The fitted look featured a roundneck and short sleeves, with a black panel along the neckline, a sheer stripe underneath followed by the white of the body. An embellished mini clutch complimented the dress, alongside silver & emerald drop earrings, soft smokey eyes and a dark red lipstick.

A Splash of Colour

Young actress Rowan Blanchard‘s look to the awards may not be everyone’s cup of tea but this soft pink silk midi dress was just beautiful. The v-neckline, the voluminous sleeves, the midi cut, the dark pink velvet platform sandals and the minimal choker necklace were all perfect details to this awards look. Her Miu Miu chain-handle bag was a quirky addition, and I adore that this young teenager opted for subtle makeup, only wearing silver shimmer eyeshadow and a subtle pink lip colour with thick wavy hair to finish. Adorable!

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is always surprising on the red carpet, and this time round she attended wearing a burnt orange silk midi dress. The Prada dress she wore featured an Oriental theme, with beautiful trimming and a high neck collar, embellishments & sequins cascading around the waist with a panel fastening too. Gold satin strappy sandals, minimal accessories and her signature bob rounded up this look.

One of my personal favourites, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, looked fantastic in her vibrant green dress by Solace London. The brunette actress’ sleeveless dress featurd cut outs on the waist with a contrasting green waistbelt and a wide mid slit on the skirt too. Dark smokey eye, black strappy sandals and a straight hairstyle completed her look.

Menswear

One of the biggest surprises of this year’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards was the first-ever male honoree, Irishman Bono. Attending with his wife and daughters, Ali, Eve & Jordan Hewson, the legendary rockstar took home the Man of the Year award for his extraordinary advocacy for women’s rights, following the founding & establishment of Poverty Is Sexist, a campaign specifically aimed at helping the world’s poorest women. As a fellow Irish, this was one great achievement by one of our own and I’m delighted that Bono was also recognized for his kind and hard work.

Joe Jonas attended with honoree Ashley Graham (below), and looked extremely dapper too. The singer and DNCE bandmember wore a red & black checked suit with patent shoes and a crisp black shirt sans tie. (On a side note, how funny is it that both Joe & Nick Jonas have starred Ashley Graham in their respective music videos!)
