Wedding Wednesday: Quinta do Lago with Thomas Sabo

Thomas Sabo

Today’s wedding inspired piece is all about what I wore to the wedding I attended last month, in Quinta do Lago, Portugal. I hadn’t been to a wedding in a few years, and this sure was a magical one – and very hot! I had never been to Portugal either so as it was also my late summer holiday, it was a bit of a double whammy. The two-day wedding meant two outfits, heels, makeup and of course, a lot of jewellery! My favourite jewellery brand Thomas Sabo was very kind to send a collection of their new products for me to wear, with thanks to Revolve PR. Read on for all the details and photos!

Saturday: The Wedding Day

The wedding day began with a drive to Nossa Senhora Da Rocha (Lady of the Rock), an outdoor ceremony atop a cliff overlooking the sea & sky, in 31°C heat. It was very hot and I’m so thankful that I opted for a sleeveless look and put my hair up. My shoes were comfortable for the day, and I do rather love how the minty hues complement my skin tone. I chose to wear silver jewellery for the day, to match my outfit.

Sunday: The Barbecue Day

As the second day was the evening BBQ, I opted for flat sandals, and chose to wear gold jewellery. The playsuit dress was a perfect choice, giving me plenty of freedom for dancing whilst still being dressy for the occasion.

Thomas Sabo is available to buy in Arnotts, Henry St, in BT2, Blanchardstown, and House of Fraser Dundrum, select jewelers and online at Thomas Sabo

Killer Fashion’s Favourites

All of the jewellery sent to me for this wedding was just beautiful, and it sure is hard to pick only a few favourites but my top three would have to be the Glam Spirit Mesh Bico Gold Watch, because it really is a statement in itself; the gold Linear Triangle Pendant necklace, and the gold Filigree Cut Out Diamond Triangle Ring. A big thank you again to Thomas Sabo and Revolve PR for their generosity.
