Boohoo Spring/Summer 2016 #WeAreUs Preview

Yesterday evening (March 29th) I attended the Boohoo Spring/Summer 2016 #WeAreUs collection launch, held in The Morrison Hotel, Ormond Quay Lower in Dublin City. Ever in sync with the trends, this collection boasted soft suede, tailored looks, ethereal pastels & romantic lace as well as season staples including florals, swimsuits and monochrome. There were plenty of beautiful pieces which I’ve now got my eye on, as well as impressive accessories – the sunglasses were a big talk of the night by many bloggers & attendees. We were treated to great music, Polaroid photos and nibbles along with Prosecco, wine and cocktails with pretty little straws and floral arrangements throughout. I attended with my bestie Mei Ling of Darling Buds of Mei, and met up with many fellow blogger friends including Lisa Mc of Goss.ie, Damien of Damien Broderick, Lawson of Laws of Style, Alex of Pink Elephant Blog, Joana of Style Traces, Mary Cate of The Fashion Horn and Jayke McCabe.

Boohoo also launched their #MoreThanJustAGirl campaign recently that, as you read above, celebrates women being independent, influential and inspiring in all the best ways. The launch includes women of all sizes & races; from tall to petite and slim to curvy and of all skin colours, there are role models in the campaign to which many girls can relate to – and that’s how it should always be! The shop advert below showcases the different styles of these women too, varying from the girly girl to the rock chick and all that’s in between.
