Boohoo #WeAreUs Christmas Preview

On Wednesday evening (October 7th) I was invited to and attended the Boohoo AW15 & Chrismtas Preview at one of my favourite new spots, Söder + Ko on George’s Street, which was brilliantly set up in the upstairs and outdoor terrace of the restaurant. Cocktail reception with music, a room full of excited fashionistas, press and fans, this was one enjoyable preview. The press event showcased their newest #WeAreUs collection for the new season as well as for Christmas glamour and party looks, with trends of all sorts popping up. I attended with my bestie Mei Ling of Darling Buds of Mei, and met up with many fellow blogger friends including Roisin of The Fashionista Observer, James Butler of Jus de James, Niamh of Cultured Cuppa, Teddy of Teddy & Alex and illustrator Conor Merriman. We sipped on cocktails and wine, ate some of the tasty foods and really took in all of the fashion. There are definitely some pieces on my Wishlist, which I’ll be lusting after for the party season ahead.

For the Boohoo AW15 collection, the fashion trend of 1970s style was evident with paisley & colorblock, as well as fringe details, faux furs & suede. The men’s fashion was also on show, with monochrome and geometric designs taking reign, and for the Christmas collection it was all about sequins, glitter and brocade designs, as well as fun Christmas jumpers, slogan tees and fabulous footwear. The Boohoo Plus selection was also well represented, with gorgeous skirts & dresses on show. At the end of the evening, I was also gifted with a generous voucher for Boohoo, which I cannot wait to use!
