MAC Cosmetics have teamed up with another designer for their makeup collection, and this time it’s Chinese haute couturier Guo Pei. You may remember that this designer was personally contacted by Rihanna for her MET Costume Gala look, which made one of the biggest red carpet statements to date. For this limited edition collection, the haute couturier brings her legendary elegance to a colour that’s inspired by her “garden of the soul”, merging vibrant jewel tones with rich neutrals, and punctuated by deep graphite. The new collection features eight different types of products; from eyeshadow quad palettes in two different hues, three lipstick & three Cremesheen lipgloss shades, the brand’s Fluidline eye liner in three colours, a beauty powder & two pink blushes, and two different makeup brushes. So whether you’re after deep blues or honeyed neutrals for your eyes, or lusting after luscious, creamy pinks & nudes and strong, bright red lips, this collection has it all. Available from €23

And then there was the unveiling of the collection from this past July in Paris. The collection featured amazing haute couture gowns, shoes and headpieces held at the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs that was a truly perfectly matched venue. Along with that beautiful visual above, which features Guo Pei’s clear talents as a haute couture designer, is it any wonder Bad Gal RiRi is a big fan?!
