So…? Couture Press Event

Yesterday evening (September 2nd), I attended the So…? Couture Press Event, for their brand new Eau de Toilette collection which includes London, New York, Paris and Rio perfumes. The event was truly wonderful, held in the beautiful glass house at House Dublin on Leeson Street and was a brilliant throwback to the So…? fragrances that many of us used back in our teen years. There were cute cupcakes, finger food and an array of delicious cocktails that the girls and I very much enjoyed, and had all of the attendees in great moods. Nails of Wicklow Street were also in attendance sprucing up fingernails with some serious polish action, both Filomena and Lainey got their manicures on! The atmosphere at the event was an excited buzz, especially because myself and my four bestie bloggers were at the same event together, for the first time ever! Myself, Filomena of Enhance What’s Yours, Kassi of Just Kassi, Lorna of Fashion Boss and Mei Ling of Darling Buds of Mei have somehow never been at the same event or party despite us being besties for a year now, madness! I also caught up with bloggers Gail O’Connor of Glam Force, Niamh O’Donogue of Cultured Cuppa, Jessika Banaghan of Chaos Wearing Lipgloss, Kate Kelly of Pure Irish Sugar & Cocoa Brown, Lainey Moore of Ruby Laine Make Up, and met more bloggers like Dee of In The Deetales and Melissa Moran of Lips & Louboutins. For the event I opted for a casual comfy outfit, as I’m still recovering from my foot injury so have been sans heels for a week now. (Full outfit details coming soon!)

The new collection features four new perfumes; So…? London, New York, Paris and Rio, along with accompanying body fragrances. London’s scent embodies a cool, creative and urban lifestyle; New York embodies a fresh, confident and neat individual; Paris is the elegant, classic and chic persona; and Rio channels spirited, warm and fun-loving notes. Basically you can have an absolute ball no matter which perfume you choose! All fragrances have floral & fruity notes, some with wooden, vanilla or musk base notes. The ombré perfume bottles come in extremely pretty packaging at 50ml, whereas the body fragrances come in 75ml bottles. At the event, So…? also unveiled their Fresh-Tival Festival Survival Kit that features two mini body fragrances and two mini dry shampoos! Truly perfect for anyone heading to Electric Picnic this weekend! At the end of the evening, I received a fantastic goodie bag with all of the products from the collection, as well as other fragrances, a cute tote bag and makeup bags too!
