Yesterday evening I attended another Dublin Bloggers Meetup for the #EastCoastBloggers, hosted and organized by Sarah of The Creative Yoke, which was held in the stunning House Dublin on Leeson Street. It was a lovely event with summery vibes in the middle of House, as Sarah had booked the area off for our group, perfect under the sunny skies but out of that sweeping wind. The atmosphere was very happy, and rather giddy as for many of the bloggers it was their first meetup to attend. For the event I opted for a casual summery look with my favourite wedges from Barratts and even wore my Victoria’s Secret bralette for its for time, yay! (Full outfit details coming soon!)
The event was more laid back and casual than other blogger meetups I’ve attended, as it was mainly an opportunity to network & mingle with a whole new group of bloggers, similar to my #KillerFashion GNO Blog Party back in March. Sarah even spoilt us with some delightful goodies by The Body Shop, to celebrate their release of the Limited Edition Happy Hour collection, which includes a selection of mojito-fragrance products. I picked up the Virgin Mojito Body Splash, Body Sorbet Moisturiser and Body Scrub. And I cannot wait to use them all. Their fragrance sure is strong, but once applied it’s more subtle and leaves the skin with an all-day scent that will have you thinking of summer getaways.
House Dublin is such a wonderful venue, and their food & drink is definitely at its A-game. (Remember I attended #TheTan event last month at House.) Their cocktail menu offers a selection of delectable drinks at reasonable prices. I ordered the Peace Lily, which features lemon juice, chilli/vanilla sugar syrup, passion fruit pulp, Licor 43 & Fuba Cachaça and is served with a slice of passion fruit and a dried rose on top. It tasted and definitely looked beautiful! There were many cocktails ordered by the girls including the Foxglove, Poinsettia, Belle Blush, Morning Dew and the House Summer Cup. I was also feeling peckish so I ordered the Supper Club Tapas and that was a very good choice. Tasty and plentiful, I just had to share it with the girls! Killer Fashion definitely recommends trying House Dublin for food & drink
I’ve met a great group of new bloggers and am looking forward to the next event as the #EastCoastBloggers! Hope you all enjoy your goodies too, and so I’ll finish this post with links to the girls’ blogs:
