The Gibson Hotel #GibsonGrillin Event

Yesterday evening I was invited to The Gibson Hotel’s #GibsonGrillin summer BBQ event, that was held on their top floor restaurant, at The Point Village. I was delighted to be on the guestlist for the exclusive evening to launch the hotel’s BBQ season, because it involved two of my favourite things; cocktails & food! Though not a typical fashion event, I made it so by wearing one of my newest purchases with my Boohoo gift voucher & a trusty statement necklace (more details on what I wore will be up this weekend). My best friend Killian and I enjoyed their delightful Strawberry Mojito and Gin & Cucumber Tonic cocktails as well as red & white wine, along with their delicious in-house BBQ, starters, sides & desserts.

It was a really great atmosphere at The Gibson Hotel, the decor & liveliness of it all was such a thrill, and I also caught up with my lovely friend Lisa Mc of Goss.ie & Lisa’s Lists blog, as well as Emma O’Farrell of Cool Events (their Irish Bloggers Conference takes place at the end of the month!) and Emma Henderson of Fluff & Fripperies blog. Keith Mahon of The Taste, a personal favourite of mine, was also in attendance. The Gibson Hotel is a truly beautiful venue, for dining, for drinks, for an overnight stay as well as pre- and post-sessions after a concert at the 3 Arena. It’s just a short walk from the city centre with beautiful views of Dublin City, the Liffey & the mountains too, and is definitely one place Killer Fashion recommends to visit.
