Boohoo #WeAreUs SS15 Press Event

Yesterday evening I was invited to attended the Boohoo press event for their new Spring/Summer 2015 collection launch. It was held in The Gallery of The Morrisson Hotel on the quays, in a spectacular set up that really was spring & summer forward. I attended with my lovey dovey bestie bloggers Lorna Duffy of Fashion Boss & Mei Ling of Darling Buds of Mei, and saw many more bloggers at the event with whom it was lovely to catch up with. Boohoo’s #WeAreUs campaign was all about self-confidence in the body were in, with the imagery featuring slim & curvy models that’s always a brownie point in Killer Fashion’s books. There were complimentary drinks & nibbles on offer, as well as an old school style ice cream stand, courtesy of Rockfield Ice Cream, outside with all the toppings to choose from, that added to the summery vibe. (I treated myself to a scoop of cookies & cream with raspberry and chocolate sauces, sprinkled with hundreds & thousands!).

But the main event really was all about Boohoo’s new fashion, that boasted a lot of trends, a lot of interesting cuts & styles, pastels and neutrals, crochet and lace, floral prints and sequins, sportswear and menswear too, as well as all the accessories. I’ve eyed up a fair amount of pieces for my April Wishlist, as well as picks for the men and the sporty luxe looks. There were eight full rails of gorgeous clothing, all at super affordable prices, as well as very well styled mannequins and spotlights on accessories from shoes to jewellery & bags. There was also a table for guests to try out the trending metallic temporary tattoos, as applied by the fun & bubbly Jenny, which I took full advantage of, and went crazy! Us lucky ladies truly enjoyed the event, chatting with many bloggers and we’re even gifted with their SS15 catalogue & a very generous present from Boohoo at the end of the night.
