Ziaja Celebrates 25 Years with Mastering Your Makeup

Last night I attended the Ziaja Skincare’s 25 year celebrations event hosted by my friend & fellow blogger Emma Sheehan of Mastering Your Makeup, held in Cleary’s Pharmacy on Talbot Street. It was a lovely evening with cupcakes, fruit juice and biscuits that was extremely informative thanks to Emma’s brilliant delivery and her knowledge of the Ziaja brand. This Polish brand is an international success that’s been in the business for a quarter of a century now, which focuses on your skin and offers an amazing selection for all different skin types, using natural ingredients. I attended with my lovely blogger babes Filomena of Enhance What’s Yours, Kassi of Makeupartistas and Lorna Duffy of Fashion Boss, and caught up with more bloggers at the event.

Ziaja’s body butters are just divine, they’re super soft and a small amount really goes a long way. They also stock Micellar Waters, which I’ve been using to remove my makeup after long days and boy do I really recommend it. Among the brand’s products are also moisturizers, body lotions, shower gels, hair care, intimate care, and picks for men & children too. After Emma’s talk there were some Q&As as well as getting to chat amongst ourselves, chat to Kasia & Barbara of Ziaja and the Cleary’s Pharmacy staff, take more photos and buy products of course. I also won a spot prize, which includes the Manuka Tree Purifying range (Normalising Day Cream, Gently Exfoliating Night Cream, Deeply Cleansing Peeling Paste & Normalising Cleansing Gel), which comes in a handy wash bag that my brother is going to borrow for his Glasgow trip. There was also a lovely goodie bag for the bloggers; mine included the Goat’s Milk Night Cream, Cocoa Butter Body Lotion, Natural Olive Anti-Wrinkle Cream, Olive Leaf Regenerating Mask and Men’s Duo Concept Moisturising Sooth Face Cream SPF 6, which my brother is also going to use. I used the Manuka Tree Purifying Normalising Cleansing Gel straight away with my Micellar Water last night, and good gosh my face is super smooth this morning.
