Yesterday evening I attended the exclusive Stila Press Day, held in Harvey Nichols, Dundrum Town Centre. It was a great preview of their upcoming collection that focused on the beauty trend of strong brows. We can easily thank model Cara Delevingne for this, as we all know she’s brow-inspo. Stila is 21 years old now, marking her big birthday with some standout products that had me truly impressed. At the event, Stila’s Brand Ambassador Sascha Jackson was on hand, giving us a masterclass using both their signature & new products, completing a gorgeous look on the model. Stila is exclusively sold through Harvey Nichols at Dundrum Town Centre, selected Boots and Marks & Spencer stores.
One Step Correct – Sascha Jackson began by using this serum, which is a 3-in-1 product that features three colour-correcting brighteners and is a weightless moisturizer serum. It evens out the colour on the face and leaves behind a really soft finish. Available at €31/£24
Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer and Stay All Day™ 10-In-1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm SPF 30 – She then used the 2-in-1 foundation that she mixed with a small amount of the for a long-lasting glow. This gave a really nice finish that was natural but still obvious, without being ‘cakey’. Available at 239/£29.50 and €34.50/£26 respectively
Convertible Color Lip & Cheek – To add colour to the cheeks, Sascha then used their duo lip & cheek stain, which she told us is one of Stila’s longest-running products that has not changed its formula since day one, because it works perfectly. Why fix something that ain’t broke eh! The cream blush gave a natural addition of colour, which she patted out with her fingers. Available at 21/£16
Eyes Are The Window in Mind – For the eyes, their newest eyeshadow palette was used. Sascha didn’t use all of the colour of course, but explained how this selection of matte eyeshadows are very flattering for day to night use, inspired by the spiritual idea that true beauty comes from within. Available at €39/£30
Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black and Mile High Lashes M – Atop the eyes their liquid eyeliner was used, which is a marker-type of liner and topped up the lashes with their mascara. Available at €17/£13 and €21/£16 respectively
Stay All Day Brow Gel – The brows were next, one of the main reasons for the event & press day; and I was very intrigued by which products would be used and how. Sascha explained that their new products are all part of the Stay All Day collection, which are true to their name and do last all day long. The Stay All Day Brow Gel, which comes in five different shades, powers up your brows as it adds volume and definition. The product comes in a little tube, which you only need to squeeze a bit for product, and then using the angled arch-shaped brush, apply onto the brows with ease. The double-ended brow tool also features a spooley end for precise filling & shaping. Alternatively you can use the Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Colour or the Stay All Day Precision Glide Brow Pencil, or use them altogether for creating true bombshell brows. Please Note: Stay All Day Brow Gel & Precision Glide Brow Pencil are only available after February 14th, Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Colour available at €18/£13.50
Colour Balm Lipstick – Sascha finished the look with a generous amount of lip colour, using the shade ‘Olivia’, which has the texture of a lip balm and the pigmentation of a lipstick, that also features peppermint oil, which is great for dry & chapped lips. Available at €21/£16
The bloggers and I had such a wonderful time. It was like a mini reunion of my #XmasBlogParty as many of the same girls attended, which really was such fun! At the end of the evening, post-chats with Sascha Jackson and the Stila team, we were given little goodie bags with some Stila products. I received the Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Colour in Light and impressively the One Step Illuminate skin-tone illuminating serum, the latter of which I cannot wait to use!
