Lee Roach
An interesting Asian-influenced collection by Lee Roach, this SS15 menswear showed off monochrome with silver, pale yellow & orange mixes while keeping lines clean and textures safe. Knitwear & the trending oversized coat look were also evident in this show.
Hardy Amies
Designer Mehmet Ali knows how to design classic, stylish menswear and definitely showcased his skills in this Hardy Amies show. Textured suits in an array of colours, luxurious knitwear and accessories, oversized hooded coats and even eveningwear that had me at my knees. I am in love.
Sibling
The Sibling show. My oh my, where to begin… It was a confection of sugary pink schoolboy attire for men, with strange sex appeal. Hot pink & black dominated this collection, which featured stripes, crepe-like textures, backpacks and oversized teddy bears, fur and distressed details, checkered patterns, a lot of body flashing and even pink-dyed hair. Designers Cozette McCreery, Joe Bates, & Sid Bryan definitely put on a spectacle not to be missed!
Matthew Miller
Deconstructing the original material for many of the pieces, designer Matthew Miller sent out a collection that was patched together with this season’s title, “Resistant”. Bright bold colours, speckled textures, clean-cut tailoring and biker jackets were all features for this show. Womenswear pieces were also included.
Christopher Raeburn
Sporty luxe was definitely evident throughout the Christopher Raeburn collection. Bright colour combinations, padded details and colour blocking prints were all large attributes to this show.
Agi & Sam
Agi Mdumulla and his co-designer Sam Cotton delivered quite the introvert collection for LC:M, showcasing bold artistic prints and oversized outerwear, and had their models wear masks & face pieces made from Lego. They explained that they “wanted to enjoy what [they] are doing, [and] make fun and playful clothing.”
Shaun Samson
Designer Shaun Samson took his laidback-cool streetwear style to a new level with this SS15 collection. Faded checkered designs, fur gloves & scarves, wide-legged shorts, leather and the collection’s title “Delusional Radical Blass” were all shown off at this show, as well as aprons that read “Adolescent Precocious Aspirational”.
Astrid Andersen
First things first; I adored this Astrid Andersen collection! It was streetwear mixed with high shine leather, hues of candy pink, maroon and monochrome and the trending oversized fits. Oh how I really adored these looks.
Thomas Pink
The Thomas Pink show lived up to its standard with extremely stylish suits and eveningwear, from jackets to shirts and accessories, as well as casual attire.
