So Sue Me “What Happened Next…” Book Launch

On Friday evening I attended top Irish blogger & businesswoman Suzanne Jackson‘s book launch, to celebrate So Sue Me “What Happened Next…” It was a really enjoyable evening, with cocktails & canapés, great music and plenty of photos, held in the VIP room at Lillie’s Bordello in Dublin City. DJ Steve Cooper was on hand spinning out some great tunes, while the bar staff kept everyone hydrated with vodka & cranberry and gin & tonic cocktails as well as fingerfood from their downstairs sister bar, The Porterhouse. Sue posed with many of her fans as well as having an über cute photo moment with her sisters & family. There were also speeches and flowers given, the last was a heartfelt and definite tear-jerking thank you from Sue to her mum Susan, with whom I had a lovely chat with later, as well as one with her dad. It goes without saying that they are extremely proud of her. And I also got to have a wee chat & photo with Sue. Last year at her first book launch when I met her she told me to “never stop believing.” And so Friday night I told her that the advice she gave me then was true motivation and told her of my blog accomplishments this past year. Sue told me that she “was proud of me. And just keep going, keep focused and keep looking forward!” There’s not many people who aren’t musicians, actors, family or friends that I can say this about; but I love this woman. I admire her work, her determination & her guidance, and I celebrate So Sue Me! She’s a beautiful role model and a true sweetheart!
