Review: Max Factor Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara*

For the past week I have been testing out a few beauty products for review purposes, and today’s review is Max Factor Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara. Mascaras are one of my all-time favourite beauty products, along with lipstick, perfume & lip balm. I feel like mascara is one of the two things that can make you look instantly awake, which is always great on a Monday morning. I’ve not used Max Factor before so I was very curious to test this mascara out.

Product: Max Factor Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara

This Max Factor mascara promises bold, black lashes for immediate & instant standout lash transformation, with the high impact, small brush that captures and volumizes every lash. Max Factor recommend using this mascara for smokey eye looks, and advise when wanting to shape your lashes, use the wand to draw mascara up from the base to the tip by wiggling from side to side. Available in Black or Black/Brown at €13.99

Verdict: Max Factor Masterpiece Transform High Impact Volumising Mascara – 3.5/5

I do like this mascara as I do notice it gives instant lift and boldness to your lashes. It’s small spaced out bristles ensure all lashes are covered in comparison to thicker brush bristles, but because the bristles go from short to long, you have to remember to turn the wand 180 to coat your left & right eye lashes similarly. And although the mascara promises does catch each lash with the product, I have noticed my lashes clump together a bit. And that’s not what any girl wants. To end on a positive note though, very little product is needed to coat both sets of lashes; I’ve only needed one dip into the mascara.

Have you tried & tested this or other Max Factor mascaras?

*Note: I did receive this product from sponsors, however this review & opinion are 100% my own.
