Review: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

As you know, I love a bold lipstick and especially one from the pink & purple colour family. I’ve used high street brand Revlon for years now, and really recommend their lipsticks. So, although this particular collection of lipsticks has been discontinued, you can still find them online and so I thought to do a short & sweet review on them!

Product: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick

This collection of lipsticks first came on the scene and made quite the colour impact. It promises innovative pigments for immediate colour with a feather light feel, that contains moisturizers and antioxidants like sweet almond oil, for improved lip texture and film-forming polymers for longer wear and skin conditioning properties. It even has a naturally fragrant with vanilla absolute and is Paraben-free. The replacement lipstick for this collection is Colorburst™ Lip Butter.

Verdict for Revlon Colorburst #30 Fuchsia – 5/5

This is actually one of my favourite lipsticks because of its pigmentation. It is an extremely vibrant colour with a sheen to its finish. It does exactly what it says on the tin, delivering a fuchsia pink tone for an instant pop of colour. What’s more, I’ve only had to use one layer of lipstick to achieve this vibrancy.

Verdict for Revlon Colorburst #10 Plum – 5/5

This lipstick is dark sultry and perfect for a vampy look. And though the lipstick itself may not look like it will deliver, the product on your lips is a deep plum hue like its name suggests. Like the whole range, it’s a moisturizing lipstick with great pigmentation. It actually reminds me of my YSL Rouge Volupté Shine #18 Prune in Fire.

Have you tried & tested any Revlon Colorburst lipsticks?
