Elie Saab
As y’all know, Elie Saab is one of my all time favourite designers so I was very excited to see what his latest collection would entail. From the first look, I was instantly blown away! The monochrome stripes with that artistic print in a flowing waterfall cut and a black & white ombré handbag? Fell in love. And this style was consistent throughout the show along with black and white lace pieces, sky blue floor-sweeping dresses, more colourful ombré and of course the designer’s signature embellishment details. Like always, can I have it all?
Stella McCartney
The iconic British designer unveiled her SS15 show, which was full of clean cut and swishy feminine pieces. Stella McCartney included a mixed but subtle-toned colour palette for the collection and included cut out designs, oversized buckles & jewellery, knitwear and denim, plaid prints, clashing prints and floral & leopard motifs.
Giambissta Valli
For this Italian designer’s show, white was a prominent colour. Leaf layering and abstract nature appliqué were also featured along with fringe details, monochrome and colour blocking, nature prints and A-line tunic dresses.
Emanuel Ungaro
Colourful, sheen and beautiful are the top three words I can use to describe the beauty of the Emanuel Ungaro show. Shiny silk, pleated details and plaid skirts, abstract prints that resemble flowers and a lot of revealing necklines. It was gorgeous and sexy, and oh how I loved every look in it.
Saint Laurent
Ok you all know how in love and obsessed I am with the classic YSL fashion house, so their Saint Laurent Spring 2015 show was something I was dying to see. There were cherry prints, a lot of leather and a lot of black, flashes of red and green and a lot of fashionable rock & roll sexiness.
