Bottega Veneta

Neutrals and pastels headed the colour palette at the Bottega Veneta show. The fashion stayed true to the design house’s personality: elegant & sophisticated, feminine yet girly and on-point. Sequin embellishments, tailored pieces and handbags were the main features for this Spring collection.

Giorgio Armani

Another of the Armani family, this show featured muted tones including trending greys & nudes, as well as animals prints, tulle details & sheer materials, boxy jackets, wide-legged pants and plunging embellished dresses. The designer closed his impressive show of over 80 looks with a playful Cleopatra-like look complete with a glittering fringed headpiece and crystal-covered tulle wrapover.

Roberto Cavalli

The Cavalli shows are always full of colour and graphic prints, and this Spring show was no different. Artistic graphics in solo & two-piece maxis, deep pleating, sheer paneling, laser cut leather and sexy cut outs & plunging necklines. Can I just have all of it, pretty please?

Gabriele Colangelo

This Italian designer showcased a beautiful a collection; full of ladylike elegance in this season’s trending colours from white and blue to black and orange, an array of textures, graphic prints and detailing to chic men’s tailoring.

Emilio Pucci

With another designer paying tribute to the 1970s, the fashion at the Emilio Pucci was as vibrant as could be with plenty of floral appliqué, lace, scalloped hems & fringe details, flared pants, folk embroidery followed by a confection of tie-dye printed flowy halterneck dresses. It was such a colourful sight. One of my favourite moments though was legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell taking to the runway. Amazing!
