Benefit Cosmetics Boutique Face Date

So today I was invited to attend the Benefit Boutique on South William Street for an exclusive “Face Date” with the Benefit team, The Voice of Benefit Mark Rogers and their Global Brow Expert Jared Bailey. I adore receiving invites to events & launches, and today’s lunchtime slot was too perfect. You’ve read my Brow Bar Review before, and today was another great experience with extra perks.

Treatment: Brow Arch, Tint & Lip Wax

My appointment started with the lip wax, one I’m getting more & more used to, and many thanks to Benebabe Nima for the great job she did to wax away all those unwanted hairs. I then went upstairs to a whole other level of the Benefit Boutique, which is where the tanning & body waxing services take place, and into the Glossip Room. This is partly the office & lounge are for staff, but today it was the consultation room for bloggers like myself, complete with refreshments & cupcakes and of course a Benefit stand with the wax treatment supplies. The team in the Benetowers were just splendid; Jared Bailey and I had a quick consultation chat before Lucy started on my brows, tinting my brows that little bit to be more brown than black then moved on to pointing out the tip, arch and ends of my brows. She then worked her magic and within minutes the waxing was done! Afterwards Jared returned to talk about how to fill in my brows easily with the Gimme Brow brow-volumizing fiber gel, then the popular Brow Zings brow shaping kit and finally the High Brow Glow luminous brow lifting pencil in champagne pink. These products really helped highlight my brows and lifted my eye area beuatifully.

Now, for the forthcoming holiday season, Benefit Cosmetics will be launching a totally new brow trend which is their Bling Brow. This product is essentially stick-on Swarovski Elements Crystals for the face, body and brows, that will add extra sparkle to your look from day to night. The crystals will last at least three days without falling off, so long you take care not to scrub them off when washing, and are available in a variety of colours. And I am gushing at how trendy, quirky and seriously cool they are, so I went for it! Jared applied three different-sized crystals below my right eyebrow to finish my look. I was also gifted with a little goodie bag with the abovementioned products, which I really can’t wait to start using myself and getting better at beautifying myself & my brows. Bling Brow packs & in-store services will be available for a limited time come 1st November 2014.
