Review: Benefit Boutique Brow Bar

As previously mentioned in my May Wishlist, I had a great desire to book myself into the Benefit Boutique Brow Bar, on South William Street after reading Irish model Pippa O’Connor Ormond’s blog post, and so I finally did! Yesterday evening was my first ever brow experience, and my what a little experience it was. This will be a short & sweet review post, as next time I will go for a full package offer.

Treatment: Brow & Lip Wax

My appointment was with Izabela, a beautiful & bubbly Benebabe that really helped me feel comfortable in getting my brows done for the first time. Before we started, Izabela asked if I considered getting my upper lip waxed. Now, for those of you who don’t know me, I’ve always been secretly super self-conscious of those little hairs and had thought about waxing or tinting them to be rid of them, but because I’d never had my brows waxed I feared the upper lip being waxed would be super sore! But I agreed to it, after realizing getting the brow hairs waxed off wasn’t too bad.

Verdict for Brow & Lip Wax – 5/5

The full waxing took about 20 minutes from the initial chat to the soothing cooling cream after and the complimentary concealer applied to cover up the slight redness post-wax. It truly was a great experience and am very happy with the results, many thanks Izabela! My brows are shapely, more arched and more symmetrical, and but also keeping my scar visible! As for the upper lip hairs, well they’re gone, happy days! I will definitely be back to the Benefit Boutique in the near future and Killer Fashion does recommend it.
