Kendra Thompson is an American well-known travel advocate & expert and PR businesswoman, who has been featured on news channels and TV talkshows like The Tyra Banks Show and The Nate Berkus Show. So when I received a lovely little email in my inbox last week, I was surprised, excited and honoured. Why? Well because Kendra chose Killer Fashion to take part in her fashion challenge! Happy days here, so I’ve put together three outfits for her family trip to Epcot in Orlando, Florida for all types of occasions, with some of Killer Fashion’s favourite picks. Read on for Kendra’s personalized brief and take a look at the outfits I’ve curated for her.

I am working on planning a trip to Epcot, Disney’s theme park this  spring. I am a mother to three wonderful children and am in need of some trendy fashion guidance! I want to look fashionable yet functional with a unique twist! I’m inviting you to help me put together a wardrobe that will complement my travel plans. My family and I are spending the weekend at the Epcot Theme Park  and I will need a chic ensemble for day and evening looks…

I finally made plans for my trip to Orlando! My family and I are visiting Epcot in Orlando, Florida. I need help from my favorite bloggers to help me find the perfect wardrobe for vacation. This is why I created “Kendra’s Fashion Challenge”! I’ve personally contacted Nirina because I love her fashion Blog. She is so talented; I cannot wait to see what kind of ensembles she comes up with! I want to have an outfit that will be cute and comfortable while complementing the area. This outfit needs to be something modest and something appropriate since I do have three young children. I need help with the latest fashions so that I am in style when we out of adventures! I know that my fashion bloggers can help me create fabulous outfits that will look and feel great!

One of the places that I am looking forward to visiting in Epcot with my family is Caribbean Coral Reef Aquarium. This is one of the largest aquariums that I have seen, and it looks like a lot of fun. However, I need to find that one outfit that will not only be comfortable to wear while walking around and looking at all of the marine life but something that might get wet as well. While there, we will probably get to touch some of the fish, and I don’t want to wear something that will look odd if it is wet. This aquarium has over 4,000 animals, and there are usually two fish feedings each day. I want to walk along the observation deck before leaving so that I can feel as though I am in the middle of a marine oasis.

There are several reasons why I want to go to Orlando, but the most important is to spend time with my family. So many attractions await us, and it is truly a wonderful place to visit. I found the perfect itinerary using the social website Gogobot! There are so many events I am interested in checking out! I want to develop a style for each place we go to whether it is a nice dinner or shopping. I know that with help, I can find the perfect outfit to wear to Epcot that will make me feel like a princess and have fun at the same time!

Outfit #1 – Caribbean Coral Reef Aquarium

Kendra will be spending time at the Caribbean Coral Reef Aquarium and wants an outfit that will compliment the aquarium, is modest & comfortable, and won’t look bad if any of the fish decide to splash about. This outfit is chic and definitely comfortable, from the Michael Kors sandals to the Fat Face dip dye cardigan, which Kendra can pop into this adorable & spacious Joie Mabel bucket bag if needs be. It’s always important to have sunscreen & lip balm handy, and this Dior mascara is waterproof to be doubly ready.

Outfit #2 – From Day to Night

Kendra will also be walking around Epcot’s other attractions with her family, so it’s vital she has an alternative outfit to be comfy and trendy in that she can wear day & night. So this outfit is rather nautical with its navy, white & brown picks like this gorgeous Iska London striped dress that comes with the waistbelt, that matches the strappy Michael Kors sandals and another bucket bag by Aeropostale, and I’ve included this Mango denim jacket for after hours. The jewellery is minimal, because you don’t need too much when on vacay; less is more. The Alexander McQueen sunglasses are vital for sunny Florida and as stated above, it’s important to have sunscreen & lip balm to stay protected.

         

Outfit #3 – Evening Dinners

This dinner look for Kendra is all about looking gorgeous, classy and summery. The graphic printed Michael Kors green & black dress is perfectly young, modest and extremely on-trend. Compliment it with simplistic black bar sandals from Jeffrey Campbell and this lace detail clutch from ASOS. Gold jewellery will help style the dress perfectly for Kendra, and the Roger & Gallet perfume is the ideal fragrance for a summery vacation with the husband & kids.
