So Week 6 is here now and Sam’s theme for the All The Buzz challenge is all about my one favourite budget beauty product. Now it really is hard to just choose one, should it be a lipstick, my budget mascara or eyeliner, and what exactly defines a budget makeup product? Well I’ve given it my best shot so here is my favourite budget bargain beauty product.
L’Oréal Paris ‘Color Riche Lip’ in #302 Rosewood: This is my favourite budget lipstick, and for many reasons, (one of them being its name, can I get a hands up for Pretty Little Liars fans!) So first and foremost; it’s a great lipstick that lasts and lasts, both on your lips and in your handbag so that’s always a great start. Next its many pros that should help convince you into purchasing this little beauty:
- Color Riche lipsticks have really great pigment in them, so they cover your lips fully in your chosen colour. #302 Rosewood is a great neutral shade as it’s a chocolate colour with pink undertones that adds a bit of oomph without too much a punch to my lips, it looks great on all skin tones, though will be more outstanding on lighter toned girls.
- Its moisturizing elements of Omega-3 oils and Vitamin E mean your lips won’t dry out during & after use. This is always important when wearing and buying a new lipstick, because no girl wants chapped, flaky lips if applying lippy. This means you don’t have to wear a lip balm beforehand and it glides on to double up as a moisturizing lipstick. Perfect!
- These lipsticks are long lasting; as I mentioned above, Color Riche lipsticks last for hours on your lips, so your colour won’t fade away and you won’t have to reapply often in one day. Due to its great pigmentation, you won’t have to use too much in one go either, so the lipstick should last you much longer in your bag.
I love the casing too, you can never go wrong with gold! And L’Oréal also released a special limited edition Color Riche Collection Privée, with six unique shades to suit your skin tone. Do you want to be Doutzen Kroes, Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore or Cheryl? Take your pick, or buy them all!
L’Oréal Color Riche Lip comes in a variety of shades from bold colours, vibrant pinks to neutrals nudes and it’s really worth its value, at only €10 a pop in your local Boots & leading pharmacies, as well as selected SuperValu & Tesco stores, and online at FeelUnique.
