Bruno Mars is one of my favourite men in the music industry. His songs are heartfelt, sexy and then there’s his moves. But more importantly, Bruno’s style is extemely cool, with his influece of the 70s and his island heritage mixed up with classic dandy styles as well as the biker look. Bruno has excelled in style and often tops the Men’s Best Dressed lists with his red carpet and on-stage looks, but don’t worry you don’t always have to be in dapper suits to steal his style; denim or leather jackets, graphic or plain tees and fitted jeans. In fact, Bruno’s streetstyle can be very easy to wear with a little help from Urban Outfitters, River Island, Criminal Damage, Topman and others. On a musical side note, Bruno won Best Pop Vocal Album for “Unorthodox Jukebox”, at this year’s 56th Grammy Awards which you can buy below.
Treasure
Bruno seems to just love leopard print shirts. Teamed with layered gold jewellery, wear the leopard print shirt with black slacks or opt for black jeans if you prefer. Moschino sell an all-over print short sleeved t-shirt, whereas American Apparel have a long sleeved version available. If you prefer a little flash over the full former pattern, then choose from Forever 21, Criminal Damage and Carhartt. For gold chains, look to ASOS & Topman to accessorize your new shirt.

Nothin On You
Graphic printed shirts are another big thing for the Hawaiin-born musician, as are denim shirts & jackets and the leather jacket. Whether he’s wearing his shirts on stage or just chilling, Bruno works colour into his look via subtle hints or full-on vibrancy; and Topman, Jack & Jones and Forever 21 are perfect for finding such shirts. As for the denim, ASOS, Paul Smith Jeans, Wrangler & Levi’s have a great selection, as do Jack & Jones. Bruno’s leather jackets make quite the many appearances, and though many of us won’t want to splash out on his Saint Laurent pick, you can easily steal the style with Jack & Jones, Daniele Alessandrini and Selected Homme at Urban Outfitters.

Locked Out of Heaven
On stage and on the red carpet, Bruno & The Hooligans love to suit up, often wearing matching pieces during performances. The shirts are always luxurious, the jacket & pants are contrasting, and there’s always a good pop of colour. I just love his look from head to toe! Like me, Bruno is a fan of red & black combinations but also has opted for blue, pink and gold. Steal this style with ASOS, Noose & Monkey, Next, Thomas Pink, and Paul Smith.

The Other Side
Remember to team your looks with dark sunglasses, cool shoes and a trilby hat. With a little help from ASOS and Reclaimed Vintage, your stylometer will really kick off and definitely impress the ladies. Sunglasses and the signature Bruno hat are usually teamed with loafers sans socks.
