The newest Ted Baker collection has landed! Their Spring/Summer 2014 Collection boasts white lace, statement necklaces & collars, colourful men’s suits with contrasting jumpers, A-line dresses in neon yellow, pink & green, sporty luxe pieces and abstract prints. What I love about all of this is how beautiful their runway show was styled, the layout of the catwalk and the floral hair pieces on the girls, but especially the dandy trend showing itself off in the menswear. There wasn’t only clean cut models but full-bearded and tattoo-bearing males, which had me happy in an instant. On top of the already-mentioned, large floral prints, men’s short suits, evening maxi dresses and pastels colours were all on show for the Spring/Summer season ahead. Even Jade Thompson walked the runway! (I love her!)
Strike A Pose
The theme around the fashion show was inspired by the circus, incorporating statement pieces, bright colours as well as large floral prints and neon accents. As Ted Baker puts “striking prints, strong silhouettes and intoxicating colours headline [Ted Baker’s] sumptuous SS14 womenswear range. [Whereas the menswear is] full of original prints, vibrant colours and thrilling threads that will take your breath away. Get in on the act with Ted Baker.” I really loved the fashion show, it was fun, young and still sophisticated, which is that Ted Baker edge that has me in awe of any of their designs. Take a look at my favourite pieces from the new SS14 collection, and watch their runway show at the bottom.
