Sporty Luxe

A big trend this season is sporty fashion. Helpful when many of us are starting into a get-fit & healthy-eating regime this New Year, so why not wear it on the outside as we become healthier on the inside. Sporty luxe are all over the designer runways and in high street stores, so there’s no excuse not to be inspired! Read on for details of perfectly fashionable pieces.

The Trend Report

Taking a look at the Summer/Spring 2014 trend reports, it’s easy to see how sporty attire has made its way back into the designer world. With big name like Marc by Marc Jacobs, Emilio Pucci & Tom Ford displaying neon colours and abstract colourful art, they incorporated these with leather, shiny material and sneaker-like heels. But don’t you worry lovies, because you won’t have to break the post-Christmas bank account to dress like the runway with these affordable, beautiful and definitely comfortable picks. River Island, Criminal Damage & ASOS have the perfect high street alternative.

Texture, Colour & All-Black

To help with your new sporty luxe wardrobe, choose from tops with netting & texture detail, or opt for the staple black colour, and accessorize with subtle jewellery & shoes.

As mentioned above, keeping your styling to a T can be easily done, with bold colourful choices, as well as layering subtle chains and patent details. Think sneakers, heels or boots, necklaces and bracelets, and of course handbags.

For Fitness Training

I won’t overlook the fact that we ladies are up for another go at the get-fit regime, (there was a lot of food over Christmas, no one blames you!) So with that in mind you can head to H&M for great and affordable attire to help you with yoga, running, training and swimming, and pick up your runners from Nike in Office. Lipsy also have some great loungewear for the afters (you do deserve that cup of hot chocolate with telly on the Thursday night.)
