Christmas Day was lovely, not as lovely as it could have been..but the family helped keep up the cheer. Just a lil update on my two outfits:
My morning outfit was worn to Dublin’s 40 Foot Annual Christmas Day Morning Swim. I wore an ensemble of black and red; Love Milly @ A|Wear’s Rose Collar Top Blouse in Black, with my Carousel Black Pleated Skirt. I teamed the look with maroon tights, my Vagabond Black Wedges and my thin red waist belt with gold round studs. The blouse is sheer although black, so i advise to wear a black or nude bandeau underneath. The collar on the blouse is gorgeous, rose crepe with gold sequins border and gold button features. Some people really thought I had worn a dress, oh how fashion fooled them! The Vagabond wedges are quickly becoming my favourite shoes to wear on a daily basis, and i’m getting more comfortable wearing both wedges and heeled shoes everywhere.
For my evening outfit I wore Rare London’s Chiffon Hi Lo Dress With Chain Back in Nude. Bought from ASOS, originally to be worn for my Christmas Dinner Party last Monday, this dress was perfectly family and Christmas Day-appropriate. I love the hi-lo feature and especially the open back with the gold chains. I added my red waist belt to match my lipstick and red soles. The material is great because on the day, i’m rushing around so it was easy to stay cool. This dress is also available in Black, and has been marked down on both Rare London and ASOS.
I teamed my dress with my new and beloved Christian Louboutin ‘Bianca’ 140 heels, in Black Patent. Now ladies, these heels are one of the most comfortable shoes i’ve ever seen, tried and owned. Bianca are classy, and funnily enough are similar to the shoe style on the ASOS page for the Rare London dress. Bianca are available online of the official Louboutin website, as well as in Brown Thomas, Grafton Street.
