Wedding Fashion, Ted Baker & Gucci

So my uncle got married on Friday and the wedding was fabulous, and i’m very happy to welcome my now-auntie into the Plunkett family! I’m also happy to say that their wedding was over two days, therefore i had two outfits for the weekend! As well as my outfits for the wedding, i’ll post a bit on some favs by the latter designers.
Friday’s outfit was the Alicia Dress in Coral by Lotus London, which i picked up in Alila. This silk chiffon georgette dress features draped angel-wings sleeves and a fully sequined neckline. I love the colour of my one, though it’s also available in Mosaic Blue or Black. I teamed this short dress with my beloved Zara Blazer with Tuxedo Lapels, which is a white satin & silk blazer, with black lapels and zip pockets. What i love about this blazer is that it can turn an outfit into classy & elegance in an instance.

My second dress is Kace by Ted Baker. This very feminine ivory-coloured dress, is pleated from the sweetheart-shaped neckline down, ending with curling flare hems. It features metallic embellishments along the neckline and sleeves, with sheer material in between, a short zip at the back and also an ultra thin waistbelt, finished off with matching gems to the embellishments. It’s a truly girly dress, and was perfect for the ceremony day. What i love about both dresses i wore, was that i could wear minimal jewellery and have my hair down.

Ted Baker’s current collection has some gorgeous dresses, like Judia, a cream or black-coloured peplum dress with capped sleeves. The slightly rouched peplum detailing is perfectly complimented by the stretch detail of the capped sleeves, and Judia’s fitted styling. Perfect for any cocktail event.

And from the Langley Collection comes Telago; a beautiful vintage-style dress. This elegant lace dress is sleeveless and features a high neckline with a georgette netting skirt. The lace is layered and embroidered, and the cream-coloured dress features a cut-out detail on the back. This Ted Baker number could be worn to a modern-day masquerade ball. Telago has been worn by Ashley Madekwe for a photoshoot, Tulisa Contostavlos and funnily enough Tulisa’s X Factor act, Ella Henderson! Both wearing the dress during a performance. A coincidence, i think not!

And with both outfits i wore my birthday present shoes, Betty T-Strap Platform Heels in Black by Gucci. These black suede heels are t-strap and peep-toe platform pumps, 100% Italian leather and one of the most comfortable shoes i’ve worn. They were perfect for the Friday (family-only event) and Saturday (full ceremony) and matched both dresses really well. Betty is also available in Black Leather, Dark Grey Suede or Red Multi Python, and are 120mm heel-height. Betty have been worn by actresses Li Bing Bing at the Gucci unveiling for her new campaign, and also by Emilie de Ravin at an Emporio Armani event.

Noah D’Orsay Cut-Out High Heels are from the same collection as Betty. The d’orsay cut-out make the pointed-toe pumps very classy, and also give a more feminine touch. Made of 100% Italian leather, Noah is available in various patterns/colours including Beige/Black Animal, Natural Multi Python, Light Bronze, Black Patent or Raspberry Red Patent, and are 110mm heel-height. Noah has also been worn by Gabrielle Union, Garcelle Beauvais, Kelly Rowland and Gemma Arterton.

A perfect boot for the cold upcoming weather is Anett Shearling Cuff Bootie. This Gucci bootie features a large, natural shearling cuff, is lace-up and also features the Gucci script logo embossed on the outer side. Anett is also made in Italy, and is available in either Cuir Colour Suede or Black Leather, with black shearling. Both booties are 115mm heel-height. They really are perfect for this winter.
